I have a passion for the meaning “homemade”…

Having something homemade means thoughtfulness, love and time is behind the gesture. We can all think back to a time where we tasted something delicious. The memory of that item created a moment to remember. Baking for me is giving the gift of a moment, to share or appreciate alone. It allows us to go back to that time we had the best cookie or slice of cake, to remember those we were with or a location which we were at. There is something about baked goods that allows a person to remember a moment in such detail.

I started this bakery to carry on the tradition of homemade baked goods and the moments they bring us. This bakery is inspired by many influential women in my life and their passion for always having something homemade to share with others. Many of these family recipes have been staples on dinner tables throughout time. These recipes are wholesome with simple ingredients. I take pride in sourcing local ingredients, using only 100% pure flavoring, and the best quality products.

My hope for this bakery is to create moments to remember. I hope to inform others about sourcing local ingredients and reducing food waste all while creating the best baked goods.

In-season, many of the blueberries used in my recipes come from my grandmother’s blueberry bush.

Seasonal Produce is sourced from various Farmers throughout the Roanoke Valley including Bedford, Botetourt, and Floyd.
